  • Creativity: Multisensory learning can help children learn about creativity.

  • Confidence: Blending athletics with academics can help children feel confident.

  • Brain development: The human brain has evolved to learn and operate optimally in multisensory environments.

Multisensory learning involves using two or more senses within the same activity. When planning my lessons, I incorporate a range of multisensory activities to enhance learning and student engagement.

SOUNDS WRITE ACCREDITED PRACTITIONER

A quality linguistics phonics program

SOUNDS WRITE- AUSTRALIA

Sounds-Write puts the fun back into learning how to read, write and spell using a phonic approach to the teaching of reading. It begins with the sounds in the language and progresses from sounds to the written word.

In 2020 I completed my training with Sounds-Write Australia to become a registered practitioner. Since then I have worked with many children to improve their decoding skills when reading using this evidence based approach. I use  the Sounds Write scope and sequence when planning for reading sessions and the Diagnostic assessment tools to assess where your child is at in their learning journey. I am an Early Childhood and Primary trained teacher who has had many years experience working with children and am a qualified Sounds-Write Practitioner, ready to help your child become a confident and capable reader.
